    Health & Safety

The Meadowbrook School is committed to keeping our campus safe and our students healthy, following best practices and guidelines set forth by the CDC and the Montgomery County Office of Public Health.

    Locked Campus

Meadowbrook is a locked campus. All visitors are required to check in at the main office. Exterior doors remain locked during school hours.

    Safety Drills

We conduct regular safety drills in the event of a fire, intruder, or other emergency event. Our comprehensive Emergency Action Plan is reviewed annually and shared with all families.

    Nurse Support & Staff Training

Meadowbrook provides nurse support through Abington School District. All staff are trained and certified in CPR and First Aid.

    Allergy & Medical Action Plans

We work closely with families to develop individualized medical action plans for students with allergies, asthma, diabetes, or other health conditions. All classroom teachers and support staff are informed and trained.

    Hygiene & Sanitization

Sanitizing stations are located throughout the school. We encourage hand washing and sanitizing breaks for students throughout the day. Classrooms are cleaned daily and as needed.

    Social-Emotional Wellness

Meadowbrook prioritizes the emotional health of every student. Our SOAR expectations, Buddies program, and classroom guidance activities support healthy social development, conflict resolution, and self-regulation.
