Lorimer is a large Montgomery County park, over 200 acres, along Pennypack Creek, and it's better thought of as a place to explore than a traditional equipment playground. It's a wonderful spot for families who want real woods, creek-side wandering, and hiking, and it connects to the wider Pennypack Trail for longer walks or bike rides.

Bring boots for muddy days and let the kids explore. If your family loves being in the woods more than on playground equipment, Lorimer is hard to beat.
