Pre-Kindergarten
Building confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning for four-year-olds.
What Makes Pre-Kindergarten Special
The Pre-K classroom is set up to feel like home. We want your children to see their artwork, feel comfortable in their surroundings, and most importantly know that they are loved and cared for as they walk through our doors. We hope to stimulate their learning, pull from their strengths, and bring out the best in each individual.

Pre-Kindergarten Curriculum
A comprehensive, hands-on approach to learning that sparks curiosity and builds confidence.
Phonics
Each week students meet a new 'Letter Person' through stories, songs, poems, and activities that focus on one letter, building phonemic awareness in a fun, engaging way.
Handwriting
Using the Handwriting Without Tears program, children learn proper pencil grip and letter/number formation with fun tools like small crayons, manipulatives, and chalkboards.
Literacy
We use Fountas & Pinnell to support reading and writing through weekly reading units, plus the Heggerty program for daily phonemic awareness practice, an important step toward becoming strong readers.
Math
Through monthly journals and group lessons, children explore counting, comparing, shapes, colors, patterns, and simple addition.
Social Studies
Theme-based lessons covering seasons, holidays, animals, transportation, kindness, friendship, and more. Art and activities connect to each theme for hands-on learning.
